Vanadium carbide (VC)
It looks like a gray metal powder and cubic crystal structure (a lattice constant: 4.182A). Density, melting point, temperature of boiling of 5.77gr/sm3, 2800°C, 3900°C, accordingly. Vanadium carbide has excellent high-temperature properties. It can be used as an additive to tungsten carbide to reduce crystals of carbide and to improve property of cement.
