Density of 8,57 g/sm3, fusing temperature- 2500 °С, boiling temperature- 4927 °С.
Scopes. Niobium is applied: - in production of heat resisting and other alloys.-for an alloying of copper, nickel and other color alloys for the purpose of the increasing its lasting quality and thermal stabilities. - as an alloying additive to a steel for giving of necessary physicomechanical properties by it. - for modifying increase of corrosion firmness of aluminum alloys. - in titanic alloys, to increase durability and corrosion firmness. - for manufacture of superfirm alloys. - for manufacture of superconductors. - as an additive to some alloys to increase electric conductivity, thermal conductivity, corrosion firmness, etc. - for manufacturing chemically proof equipment. - as catalysts.
